Mountain2Mountain comes to Golden to revitalize a village with the dZi Foundation

Back on March 13th, I presented in a panel discussion in Breckenridge for Mountain2Mountain's Views of the Himalaya event, supporting the "Revitalize a Village" project by the dZi Foundation.

That night was a huge success, with many people coming out to the Speakeasy theater in Breckenridge to learn more about the issues facing remote villages in Nepal and to help dZi make an impact on one of those villages.

Since the first event was such a success, Mountain2Mountain has decided to do another round, this time right here in Golden, Colorado, at the Bradford Washburn American Mountaineering Museum.

The event will start at 5:30 PM on June 11th and will feature a photography exhibit of images from the Himalaya as well as another panel discussion. Panelists this time around will include Ellen Miller, George Lowe, and – yup! – me, Jake Norton. We'll spend some time sharing our perspectives (i.e. – Views of the Himalaya) on the Himalayan region and the development issues facing it.

Be sure to come on by! Tickets can be purchased in advance (see info below), or at the door:
