Check Out Everest in 3D – pretty cool!

Just stumbled upon this pretty neat YouTube video of the main routes on Everest (Southeast and Northeast Ridges).

It was put together by DLR in Germany, and they did a pretty good job of showing the mountain from a bird's eye view. I just wish it played a bit slower and let you get a better look at some of the features and terrain.

    As far as I know Everest is the world’s highest mountain and its massif includes neighboring peaks Lhotse (8516 m), Nuptse (7855 m) and Changtse (7580 m). I was always fascinated and amazed by the mountain climbers that have courage and strength to climb on the top of the highest mountain in the world!
