I’m proud to announce that our award-winning film, High and Hallowed: Everest 1963, is now available for purchase or rental exclusively through Vimeo-on-Demand.

For all of us involved in the film – David Morton, Jim Aikman, Eddie Bauer, Xtreme Video, and I – it was a difficult decision to release the film given the tragic earthquake in Nepal on April 25. After much discussion, however, we collectively decided that the film was a way to remind people of the beauty of Nepal and its people, and to encourage tourists, trekkers, and climbers to return and help get Nepal’s tourism economy back on track. Additionally, we decided that all proceeds from the film will go to relief efforts focused on the families of expedition workers.

High and Hallowed: Everest 1963 was a passion project for all involved, and we sincerely hope you will take the time to rent or buy it today, and know that profits from your purchase will in turn directly benefit those suffering in Nepal. If you’d like to learn more about how you can help in Nepal and where to give, please consider making a donation to one of the great organizations listed on my #HelpCarryTheLoad fundrasier on Crowdrise.
